Carpe Diem! Ukes on the Move! is offering two upcoming Advanced Beginner Ukulele Classes.

Teaching artist (and treasured Music Together teacher) Liz Brinker will teach two 4-week classes at Washington Revels Studio in Silver Spring. Our Advanced Beginner classes are designed for those who have taken our Intro Beginner classes or an equivalent, and who are proficient with the C chords, A minor, F & G. Carpe Diem! Ukes on the Move! is offering two upcoming Advanced Beginner Ukulele Classes.

Teaching artist (and treasured Music Together teacher) Liz Brinker will teach two 4-week classes at Washington Revels Studio in Silver Spring. Our Advanced Beginner classes are designed for those who have taken our Intro Beginner classes or an equivalent, and who are proficient with the C chords, A minor, F & G. The 3:30 class is open to children in grades 6 & up, plus adults.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
