What’s the buzz at Brookside Gardens and Brookside Nature Center? Join us for Children’s Day-Honey Harvest Festival for Free Family Fun!

Here's what’s BUZZING!!!

Join Brookside Gardens, Brookside Nature Center and The Maryland State Beekeepers Association to celebrate honeybees and pollinators. Talk to beekeepers, watch honey being harvested, buy local honey and bee products, and enjoy family-friendly activities, live music and crafts. We'll be buzzing about pollinators all day long!

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
