Corky Laing Plays Mountain, Kofi Baker Plays Cream

Corky Laing, drummer and songwriter for the legendary hard rock band Mountain, is back on the road with his new solo project. Laing performs immortal Mountain classics such as “Mississippi Queen,” “Nantucket Sleighride,” “Never in My Life,” and more with the help of Joe Venti (Leslie West Band) on bass, guitarist Richie Scarlet (Ace Frehley), and Ken Sidotti on keyboards. In honor of the memory of his longtime collaborator, Jack Bruce, Laing also features songs from Cream & West and Bruce & Laing.

As the son of iconic Cream drummer Ginger Baker, Kofi Baker has a name that’s synonymous with drumming excellence. Baker has more than lived up to his name, having a built a career showcasing his own outstanding skills, drive, and dedication. Baker has worked with some of the world’s greatest musicians, including Tom Jones, Jack Bruce, Steve Marriott, and more. Expect exciting and original interpretations of his father’s work.
