From the streets of New York to the world’s most famous concert halls, enjoy the sounds of the Escher Quartet! “They hold the listener spellbound from first to last” (BBC Music Magazine)
Founded in 2005, the Escher String Quartet has received acclaim for its profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty. Awarded a prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2013, the ensemble serves as Season Artists of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in its home town of New York. The Quartet takes its name from Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher and draws inspiration from the artist’s method of interplay.
