In the Mix: Mixed Media Art of Patti Francis

The Glen Echo Park Partnership is pleased to present In the Mix: Mixed Media Art of Patti Francis. This exhibition includes shadow boxes, mixed media collage paintings, and abstract paintings. The artist gives whimsical nod to some of her favorite artists, and also addresses civil rights issues in a series of shadow boxes, Color Studies, an Homage to Albers and Civil Rights. The collage paintings incorporate vintage photos, maps, sheet music and other handmade and vintage papers. The mixed media abstract paintings are oil and cold wax on panel.
