The Deaf Poets Society: Reading & Art Opening

Join us for a reading from The Deaf Poets Society, a recently launched online journal. The publication features work by artists, poets, and writers who are D/deaf and/or experience disability, sickness, or chronic pain. Further, the journal is intersectional, calling for submissions from people of all races, ethnicity, socioeconomic backgrounds, religions, and sexual identities.

Editor Sarah Katz will be joined by Gregory Luce, Jen Stein, Camisha Jones, Carrie Addington, and Isis Nelson. Artwork from the journal will be mounted in the Reading Room throughout the spring. The reading will be followed by an opening reception celebrating this vibrant, powerful publication.
