This site-specific installation is curated by Jack Rasmussen who is the director and curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. The wire sculpture will look as if it’s emerging from the floor of the Stone Tower Gallery to make a rising tide of dimensional work.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
