Marin Alsop pulls out all the stops for our closing concert with one of her signature works, Saint-Saëns Symphony No. 3, “Organ.” Add to that the Beethoven Violin Concerto with audience favorite Gil Shaham, who will dazzle and charm us with his virtuosity. This is a program that is grand in every way— a fitting way to close out the first season of our second century.
