A special President’s Day show! The whimsical and wonderful Dr. Seuss stories, “The Cat in the Hat,” “Green Eggs and Ham” and “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,” come to life through dance! Afterward, celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with activities and snack treats. Recommended for ages 4 and up.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) advocates for better representation of women artists and serves as a vital center for thought leadership, community engagement, and social change.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
