An engaging production for very young children. Audience members learn interactively what it’s like on the family farm through movement, music, handcrafted puppets, and little dialogue.
After an extraordinarily popular performance at BlackRock in 2014, the TreeHouse Shaker’s Hatched returns to BlackRock. With movement, music, handcrafted puppets, and very little human dialogue, this show is set on a family farm, a newborn chick emerges from her shell at sunrise to a strange and busy world. Audience members interact and play with the characters on stage; they give the chicks their feed, milk bottles to the lamb and are licked by the cow. This event will be $18 in the Studio Theater at BlackRock Center for the Arts and is General Admission first-come, first served seating. This show is geared towards early childhood learning and everyone is required to have a ticket, including lap infants. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
