This exhibition brings together the diverse work of 20 artists from around the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area.

The Glen Echo Park Partnership and the Washington Sculptors Group is pleased to present Sculpture REMIX 2017: Craft/Technology/Art. This exhibition brings together the diverse work of 20 artists from around the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. The exhibition, juried by Allison Nance, highlights both materials and the process.

  • Gallery 1 - Iris Posner’s “Coat of Arms” is made of woodblock prints on rice paper printed with photos.
  • Gallery 2 - Adam Bradley’s “Push” has sinuous legs and hips of wood, an aluminum fish head and sheet metal wings.
  • Gallery 3 - Julie Zirlin’s “Wave Vessel” is an undulating ceramic piece.
  • Gallery 4 - Marc Robarge created “This Land,” an American flag image made from rubbings of surfaces such as tree bark.
  • Iris Posner’s “Coat of Arms” is made of woodblock prints on rice paper printed with photos.
