Join the Gaithersburg Community Museum and Boy Scout Troop 1760 for a flag retirement ceremony.
The Gaithersburg Community Museum with Boy Scout Troop 1760 will hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony on Wednesday, June 14 from 7:00-8:00 pm at City Hall Pavilion. Gaithersburg’s Young Artist winner, Madison Middleton, will sing the National Anthem and Junior Mayor Purani Kannanwill reflect on what the flag means to her.
We ask that anyone in the community that has a flag that needs to be retired bring it to the museum between June 1 - 3. The museum’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am-3:00 pm.

If you have a flag you wish to retire at the ceremony, it must be brought to the Gaithersburg Community Museum between June 1sth to 3rd so it can be prepared for retirement. The museum's address is 9 S. Summit Avenue. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
