Amelia is a graduate of Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland, where she received her master’s degree in Fine Arts and Art Education. She is currently working at Prince George`s Community College, helping Adult Education students fulfill their dreams. In her spare time, she serves as the vice president of shows for Montgomery Art Association.
Originally from Poland, Amelia lived for more than eight years in Southeast Asia before relocating to Burtonsville, Maryland, where she lives with her family, two cats, and one dog.
She never tires of painting the natural world and cherishing nature. She captures ordinary moments and gives them a new sense of importance and magic accentuated with the vibrant and luminous color palette. Her favorite medium is oil.
