Auditions

Peace Mountain Theatre Company is holding auditions for Edward Albee’s full-length drama, Three Tall Women.  The play will be directed by Laurie T. Freed.

Dates are Sunday, February 20 and Monday, February 21; there will be time slots, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, etc., every 1/2 hour until 9:30; please choose a time slot when signing up to audition

All auditions will be held at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Chevy Chase, MD 20815

Please bring head shot, resume, and conflict calendar to the audition.

COVID safety precautions will be in effect; actors will be required to show proof of full vaccination (physical copy or digital photo of vaccination record); all persons attending auditions are required to wear masks; auditioners will be required to wear masks when not reading.

Peace Mountain Theatre Company is a professional theatre company: all actors will be paid

All roles are open.

Actors will be doing cold readings from the play and should be familiar with the script.

Characters: all characters are female; actors should be able to believably play characters in the listed age ranges.

“A” – 70+, elegant, proud, autocratic lady

“B” – late 40s – mid-50s, similar to “A”

“C” – mid-20s – early 30s, similar to “B”

Rehearsals will begin at the end of February, general 2-3 evenings during the week and one day on the weekend; February rehearsal will be on Zoom

There will be seven performances May 12-15 and May 20-22; Sunday performances are matinees; all performances will be at The Writer’s Center.
