The Shakespeare Theatre Company, located in downtown Washington DC, seeks a Box Office Manager. This position is a key component in the Audience Services department, and supervises all box office operations, including hiring, training, and scheduling of all full- and part-time Box Office Associates, phone and face-to-face customer service to our patrons, and managing the ticketing operations in our software, Tessitura. In addition, the Manager tracks ticket inventory, reviews and submits timesheets for payroll, and reconciles financial information for the Business Department. This position works in conjunction with the Retail and Concessions Manager and the Front of House Manager and, with the Director of Audience Services, ensures the highest quality customer service to our patrons. The box office is often the first point of contact with a patron, and the Box Office Manager must keep that knowledge at the forefront of decisions and actions within the box office.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and an annual salary of $52,300.
