Building a Solo Doc Filmmaking Kit

You can make a whole documentary, or big parts of one, by yourself!  All the tools that you need can fit inside a backpack and a sling bag, without breaking the bank.  This one-day seminar is a hands-on opportunity to see the latest portable cinema cameras, light kits, audio gear, rigging and related accessories that you'll need to create content that meets the highest standards in filmmaking.  The instructor will walk with you through making tough choices and avoiding big mistakes, by powering-up a sample kit that everyone can try out during the session.  It's equally an opportunity to learn about camera, audio, and lighting fundamentals hands-on using the latest portable gear from Sony, Blackmagic, Samsung, Aputure, Zoom and much more.  Participants are optionally encouraged to bring their own gear for evaluation and finding the right fit.
