Classical Recital Competition

 
Classical musicians are now being sought for the Montpelier Arts Center Recital Competition!  Winners will be featured in a recital in the Main Gallery during the September 2022-May 2023 season.

Musicians must be 18 & older to be considered. There are no geographical restrictions, but winners are responsible for their own transportation.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• All entries must be submitted online at https://montpelierartscenter.submittable.com/ by Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 11:59 pm.
• Ten-minute selection of music that best identifies your repertoire and technique.

• Musician(s) biography.

• Headshot(s) that is appropriate for print (at least 8" x 10" and 300 dpi resolution).

• Current one-page resume with contact information for each participating musician

The honorarium is $400 per performance. If applicable, one accompanist per performance will receive a $200 honorarium.

There is no entry fee for this competition.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, March 13, 2022, 11:59 pm

Notification of Results: March 28, 2022. If selected, artists must confirm performance date by April 8, 2022.
