Five fellowships of $10,000 to advance, expand, and support the creation of new research and knowledge through craft practice.

The Artist Fellowship is one of three categories that make up the Craft Research Fund, a visionary program dedicated to supporting scholarly craft research in the United States. Awards of $10,000 will be granted to five, mid-career artists to support research projects that advance, expand, and support the creation of new research and knowledge through
craft practice. At the end of the grant period, Fellows' research will be disseminated through a publication, conference presentation, exhibition, film, or other format proposed by the Fellow.

The Craft Research Fund program is supported in part by the Windgate Foundation
