The Development and Community Engagement Manager will prepare and implement a development plan which encompasses all areas of traditional fundraising, including major gifts, foundation grant seeking, corporate sponsorships and planned giving.  The Manager will also create and execute a community outreach and education plan to engage the theater’s different external stake holders: neighborhood residents, local universities, DC elementary schools.  The Manager works closely with the Development Committee, the Executive Director and the theater’s Board in all development, fundraising and community partnership endeavors as well as associated special events.

The Development and Community Outreach Manager is a year-round, full-time staff position with a starting salary of $40,000.
