FY21 Color the Curb

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH), in partnership with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), offers this call to artists for Color the Curb (CTC), a curb extension public art program. This joint agency project is part of DDOT's Arts in the Right-of-Way program and funds artist designs that transform intersections into works of art that increase the safety and visibility of pedestrians while adding visual interest to the area. Up to five (5) local artists and design professionals, with prior surface painting experience, will be selected to design and install ground murals at intersections in the District.
