The Virginia Beach Art Center presents a nation-wide showcase which features water, water, everywhere! It has no taste, no smell, no color, yet we can't live without it.  Artists from Alabama to Wyoming are invited to show our relationship to water through visual media.

ALL MEDIA WELCOME!

The exhibition is juried by Chuck Larivey, a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America. Prize money totals $2,000.  The opening reception is June 3, 6 - 8 pm.

The Virginia Beach Art Center is a popular venue for local and regional art, with a loyal following of patrons as well as a high daily visitor count.  We invite you to join our art family for the month of June and help us celebrate artists throughout the United States.

Submission Deadline: May 10, 2022
Notifications Sent: May 21, 2022
Delivery: Shipped works received May 25 - 29, hand-delivered works received May 31. Extra drop off available May 28 - 29 by arrangement.
Reception: June 3, 6 - 8 pm.
Awards Presentation Livestream:  June 3, 7 pm. on "Virginia Beach Art Center--Home of the Artists Gallery" Facebook page
Exhibition ends: June 26, 4 pm.
Artists Talks (optional): June 26, 3-4 pm.
Pick up in person: June 28, 10 am. to 5 pm.
Return Shipping: VBAC staff will repack and ship June 27-28. Artists who participate in the art talks may take their works with them June 26 at 4 pm.
