POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Manager plans and coordinates all production elements for a large scale, multigenerational musical in GW Lisner Auditorium in support of Washington Revels, Inc. (WR). This position requires a proactive, creative and welcoming person with skills in scheduling, coordination of a large team, and problem-solving, who can work with both professional staff and artists as well as a wide range of volunteer support staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Overview
In close collaboration with WR staff, the Production Manager creates, maintains and facilitates schedules, staffing and budgets for the large-scale Christmas Revels production at Lisner Auditorium. During peak periods of production (including tech week, etc) the Christmas Revels Production Manager is the primary point of organization onsite for the production’s needs:
OFFICE TECHNOLOGY
This position operates in a professional office environment with an all-Mac IT system, Dropbox cloud storage, QuickBooks Online, an integrated ticketing and AudienceView CRM platform. Communication tools include full use of Google Workspace and Zoom.
WORKPLACE and HOURS
The Washington Revels Office and primary rehearsal location is Glen Echo Park, 7300 Macarthur Blvd, Glen Echo MD.
Larger scale rehearsals and events take place at, but are not limited to, Lisner Auditorium (Christmas Revels), Potomac School McLean VA (weekend rehearsals in the fall for Christmas Revels).
Props and Costume storage and workshops are offsite in Potomac, MD and Rockville, MD respectively.
Most meetings, organization, etc may be accomplished remotely; but onsite presence is necessary when in production.
Hours, beginning as soon as possible, will be approximately 20 hours per month (August-October and early November), with increased hours (approximately full-time) for five weeks from mid-November through December.
COMPENSATION
A stipend of between $6,000-$7,800. There are opportunities for more projects throughout the year as needed.
