Takoma Park Arts Call for Poetry Readings

The City of Takoma Park is seeking applications from poets for future poetry readings in the Takoma Park Arts cultural series. Poetry readings are held on Thursday evenings approximately 8 times per year in the Takoma Park Community Center auditorium at 7500 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park, MD. Poetry readings for the 2022-23 season will be held between September 2022 to June 2023.

A reading usually includes 3 or 4 poets who each read their original work for approximately 10-15 minutes. Poets don’t have to be Takoma Park residents but must be willing to travel at their own expense to the Takoma Park Community Center for the reading.
