Three giants of Polish music are featured in this concert honoring Poland’s 100th anniversary of independence. Debski is a renowned composer who strides many genres and styles; Chopin, a giant of the Romantic era; and Szymanowski was Poland’s ambassador composer of the 20th century. Each of the these works commemorates the national, cultural and musical identity of Poland.
