The Levine Presents series “Infinite Variety: The Iconic Influences of Leonard Bernstein” explores Bernstein as a conductor, pianist, chamber musician, composer, and educator as well as his influences and bridging of cultural divides.
Bernstein, and particularly West Side Story had a profound effect on generations of rock musicians. In an homage to Bernstein and his interest and influence on popular culture, Levine’s rock department presents the album American Idiot by Green Day.
Featuring: Jeremy Castillo and Eric Ulreich (electric guitar), Sean Peterson (bass), Manny Arciniega (drums).
