Bomba Workshop

$15 for Museum & Cultura Plenera members, $20 for non-members

Tap into one of the oldest dance and music practices of the Caribbean – Afro-Puerto Rican bomba with Cultura Plenera. This fun, high energy dance class is sure to get your blood flowing and body moving. Enjoy high and low impact movement as you dance along to the infectious rhythm of live drummers. Julia Gutierrez-Rivera, one of today’s most noted dancers, leads this  90-minute course.

*Please wear comfortable, loose clothing (i.e. dance wear or dance skirts) and comfortable shoes (no boots).  If you don’t wear a traditional skirt, we will have ones for you to borrow.
