Exhilarating performances and imaginative programming have established BRASS ROOTS TRIO as one of the most compelling ensembles of the 21st century.
The Brass Roots Trio's concert programs are an eclectic mix of styles. From a Baroque duet with piccolo trumpet and horn to jazz inspired Gershwin to Piazzolla’s decadent tangos and American spirituals, BRASS ROOTS TRIO creates symphonic sounds that melt into sultry jazz, making three instruments sound like a small orchestra – and it’s always a surprise when the horn player puts down his instrument and sings a Verdi aria with his magnificent tenor voice! No tickets are required; donations are greatly appreciated! We would like to suggest a $15.00 donation (adults).
