Brian Ganz Plays Chopin's Hidden Gems

Join pianist Brian Ganz as he continues his journey through the complete works of Frédéric Chopin with an exploration of the composer’s hidden gems and time-honored masterpieces! Brian will play works that are virtually unknown, like the two Bourrées, the Fugue in A minor and the Souvenir de Paganini, alongside perennial favorites such as the Waltz in C-sharp minor, the Fantasy-Impromptu and the great Polonaise in A-flat Major. Come discover gems you\’ve never heard by the great Romantic composer as you rediscover some of his most beloved works.

Additional unfamiliar works to be performed are the Bolero, Op. 19; the Tarantella, Op. 43; the Funeral March in C minor, Op. 72, No. 2; the Album Leaf in E major and more. Additional masterworks will include the Mazurkas, Op. 56; the Polonaise in A Major, Op. 40, No. 1; the Funeral March (from the Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35); and more.
