Call for Artists: Bethesda Mural Opportunity

We are currently seeking proposals for the Old Georgetown Road Parking Garage Mural.

The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District, Montgomery County and BUP have partnered to install a new public art mural on the Old Georgetown Road Garage and we are seeking your colorful and creative ideas for this garage! The deadline to submit your proposal is August 6. Please see the RFP for more details and help "Paint the Town" in downtown Bethesda with this new public art mural. https://www.bethesda.org/bethesda/paint-town-mural-project-0

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
