Celebrating Black History Month - Ken-Gar: Then and Now

Local resident Karen Jackson will share the history of Ken-Gar, one of the surrounding neighborhoods founded by slaves in 1892.

Local resident Karen Jackson will share the history of Ken-Gar, one of the surrounding    neighborhoods founded by slaves in 1892.   There will also be a performance by members of Lee’s Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church.  FREE!  All are welcome.
