Our year-round programs included the Young Training Program and the Pre/Professional Training Program. The Young Training Program provides students ages 8-12yrs with a high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate dance curriculum, specifically designed for young, talented students who are tracked to one day enter the Conservatory. ADMISSION INFO

To register for the in-person audition dates/times please follow these steps:

Complete the CityDance Audition form using this LINK.
You will then receive an invoice for $50 to finalize the registration for the audition.
Submit PCR test and Vaccination information in the unique link that you will receive after submitting the payment
Please email your headshot and full-body dance photo to inquiry@citydance.net

To submit a video audition follow these steps:

When completing the form, please indicate that you will be submitting a video as your audition.
You will then receive an invoice for $25 to finalize the registration.
Please email your video with the requirements noted below to summer@citydance.net after you have paid the invoice online.

VIDEO AUDITION

Offering rolling video auditions for 2022 Summer Intensives.

Follow these steps:

Video requirements for each age category:

8-12 years

Video from a dance class
Short video of improvisation or performance

12 years+

Short ballet barre: pliés, battements tendus simples, battements jetés, rond de jambes par terre and en l’air, frappés, fondus, grands battements (right and left) etc.
Short ballet center: Port de bras, développe, glissade, pas de bourrée, pirouettes, petit and grand jetés, sissonne, assemblé, pas de chat, pas de basque, pas de bourrée, pirouettes, sissonnes, etc.
Pointe work if applicable
Short modern warm-up to include floor work with contractions, spirals, and leg extensions and center technique work using a parallel base
Contemporary movement phrases, sequences and/or progressions
Demonstration of any other genre you would like to share, if applicable

Dancers who competed with a solo in YAGP, or other dance competitions, can also send a video link of their competition performance. Please email summer@citydance.net if you have any questions.
