CityDance Jazz Dance Class

Jazz Class Ages 5-9

Students study the basics of jazz dance including introduction to technique, improvisations, and rhythms.  A variety of authentic jazz music and themes are used in the class: from ragtime, broadway, lyrical, and pop in order for children to become better aquainted with this American dance form and its close relationship to music.  The elements of time and expression are central in this class and help children to discover the natural razzmatazz perfromance-oriented quality of this idiom.

Monday Razzmatazz Jazz (ages 5-7) 5:30pm-6:30pm / Register

Thursday  Jazz 1 (ages 7-9) 5:30pm-6:30pm / Register

Saturday Razzmatazz Jazz (ages 5-7) 9:00am-10:00am / Register

Jazz 1 (ages 7-9) 2:00pm-3:00pm / Register
