Danse Macabre: Two Harpsichords, Devilish Virtuosity

The A&A Cembalo Duo includes two exceptionally talented Russian trained virtuoso harpsichordists, Anastasia Antonova & Anna Kiskachi. They favor the unconventional & apply their extraordinary virtuosity to performances of music by diverse composers not traditionally associated with the harpsichord. They re-interpret music for the harpsichord and, in doing so, create an utterly new perception of the harpsichord!

Capriccio Baroque presents the A&A Cembalo Duo performing on two harpsichords and also one harpsichord, four hands. The Duo performs a thrilling concert of Baroque works by Handel, Lully/D’Anglebert, Royer, Purcell & Morley juxtaposed with works by Classical/Romantic composers Saint-Saens & Dvoràk and 20th century works by Ligeti.
