Discover the art of figure drawing in this class for beginner to intermediate artists! Students will work with teaching artist Carla Byrd to explore different drawing techniques to depict and stylize the human figure! Whether you’re a first time artist or you just want a refresher this class will teach you the basics. Class meets for 4 sessions.
Materials:
Ebony pencil
HB graphite drawing pencil
pencil sharpener
kneaded eraser/ regular eraser
drawing paper (at least 9x12)

Parking Information: Metered garage parking is available in the Fenton Street Village (Garage 4) Parking Garage and a small surface lot by our building (see map above), and can be paid with either coins or through the MobileNOW app. Metered street parking is available on Silver Spring Avenue in front of our building, and will be available across the street when ongoing construction is finished.
