Portraiture is where it’s at in this online class for beginner to intermediate level artists. Working with teaching artist Carla Byrd, learn about proper proportions, value, textures and more! Whether you’re a first time artist or you just want a refresher this class will teach you the basics needed to create a portrait. Class meets for 4 sessions

Ebony pencil
HB graphite drawing pencil
pencil sharpener
kneaded eraser/ regular eraser
drawing paper (at least 9×12)

Parking Information: Metered garage parking is available in the Fenton Street Village (Garage 4) Parking Garage and a small surface lot by our building (see map above), and can be paid with either coins or through the MobileNOW app. Metered street parking is available on Silver Spring Avenue in front of our building, and will be available across the street when ongoing construction is finished.
