Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) was born October 2, 1869. This year marks the 150th birth anniversary of the Mahatma. Join us for a special gathering to commemorate the life and message of Mahatma Gandhi with special remarks and devotional offerings. All are welcome.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
