Shakespeare’s enchanted woods are transported to Regency Ireland, where live Irish music, dance, and Yeats’ poetry are sure to cast a spell!
Shakespeare’s enchanted woods replete with mischievous faeries, quarreling lovers, and ridiculous rude mechanicals are transported to a Regency drawing room in rural Ireland. Live Irish music, dance, and Yeats’ poetry are sure to cast a spell! Adapted and directed by Stephanie Mumford and Leah Mazade with assistance from Folger Shakespeare Theatre dramaturg Michele Osherow and traditional Irish music/history expert Peter Brice. Tickets available at the door, on-line via Brown Paper Tickets, or by reservations via QTC’s box office. Open seating, except for QTC 2017-18 subscribers, who may reserve seats.
General – $35, no discounts applied. Open seating.
Senior (65+) – $25, senior discount for patrons 65 and older.
Student – $15, special discount for students and The Writer’s Center members.
30&UNDER – $15, special FRIDAYS ONLY discount for patrons 30 years of age and younger.
Children – Free for children 12 years of age and younger.

On July 25th, members of DC/MD/VA theatre community (actors, directors, designers, writers) are invited to PWYC.
There will be a post-show talk with the cast, directors/adapters, and musical director following Saturday, July 28th, 2pm matinee.
