A special festival of stories written by kids for kids! Free and open to the public.

InterAct Story Theatre’s KidStory Theatre Festival. Part of the Wheaton Family Theatre Series.

A theatrical celebration of stories by kids for kids! All year long, InterAct Story Theatre artists create stories with kids, and invite kids to share their epic stories with us. Saturday, May 12 at Glenallan Elementary School (12520 Heurich Road, Wheaton, MD 20902), we’ll choose the best of the best and transform them into short plays, musical numbers, and vignettes performed by our InterActors. ... view more »

InterAct Story Theatre’s KidStory Theatre Festival. Part of the Wheaton Family Theatre Series.

A theatrical celebration of stories by kids for kids! All year long, InterAct Story Theatre artists create stories with kids, and invite kids to share their epic stories with us. Saturday, May 12 at Glenallan Elementary School (12520 Heurich Road, Wheaton, MD 20902), we’ll choose the best of the best and transform them into short plays, musical numbers, and vignettes performed by our InterActors. Last year’s KidStory Theatre Festival was a smash…we can’t wait to see what kids dream up this year! Best for ages 3 and up.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
