Puccini’s rarely performed masterwork La Fanciulla del West is a romantic Western epic featuring one of opera’s greatest scores and lushest orchestrations. The two casts are led by internationally acclaimed sopranos Susan Bullock and Elizabeth Blancke-Biggs in the title role of Minnie, who stands alongside Tosca and Butterfly as one of Puccini’s greatest heroines. Parking in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage is $5.20 during the week and free on weekends. Strathmore is also accessible via Metro's Red Line, Grosvenor-Strathmore station.
Limited short-term parking also is available at specially marked meters along Tuckerman Lane, which do not require payment after 7pm.
