Lift Every Voice Part Three: Juneteenth Celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth as we perform music of the most talented Black composers of the past and present—George Walker, William Grant Still, Florence Price, and Jessie Montgomery—for the third and final concert in our Lift Every Voice series.

Welcome to the third and final installment of our Lift Every Voice series. With these concerts, NOW seeks to promote a more equal and just society by showcasing music by composers and performers whose identities have been historically underrepresented in the world of classical music. Join us this Juneteenth as we will offer our first LIVE concert since the pandemic began! This concert will celebrate the music of Black composers of the past: George Walker (1922–2018), William Grant
