FOLMC hosts Lisa Lucas, executive director of the National Book Foundation and the first woman and African-American to lead the non-profit foundation.

Opening the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival, FOLMC hosts Lisa Lucas, executive director of the National Book Foundation. Lucas is the first woman and African-American to lead the non-profit foundation that hands out the prestigious National Book Awards. An advocate for diversity and inclusivity in publishing, and for inspiring the next generation of readers, she calls herself a cheerleader for literature.
