FOLMC proudly hosts author Vaddey Ratner for a Literary Luncheon taking place October 10, 2019 at 11:30am at Twinbrook Library.
FOLMC hosts Vaddey Ratner, author of In the Shadow of the Banyan and Music of the Ghosts and invites you to join us on a journey to discover the unbreakable bonds of family, and the power of stories to transcend loss and suffering. Ratner’s novels are based on her family’s experiences as descendants of King Sisowath during the time of the Khmer Rouge, escape to a new world, and a fictionalized take on returning to your home country, still trying to heal from its past.
