Local Writer's Showcase

The 2021 Essay & Short Story Contest & Poetry Contest are currently accepting submissions!

The annual Essay and Short Story contest, in partnership with Bethesda Magazine, The Writer's Center and The Trawick Foundation and the Bethesda Poetry Contest will honor local writers. The deadline to submit your essay or short story is Monday, January 18, 2021. The deadline to submit your poem is Friday, February 5, 2021.

The selected winners will be invited to a virtual event in March to read their pieces and receive their awards.
