WHAT IS MANHATTAN SHORT?

100,000 film lovers unite in over 300 cinemas across 6 continents to view and vote on the finalists films in the 21st Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.

YOU are the judge. Upon entry to the Arts Barn theatre, festival attendees will be handed a Voting Card and an Official Program and asked to vote for the ONE Film and Actor they feel should win. Votes are tallied by the Kentlands Film Society then emailed to our NYC headquarters. The overall winner is announced on ... view more »

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
