Mixed Media Expressions Workshop

Join interdisciplinary artist Ann Deutermann in a 3 part workshop where you will be creating a mixed media painting by delving into a variety of materials and techniques. We’ll examine ‘intention’ in relation to artwork and how to begin with a point of inspiration allowing your creativity to flow! Wet mediums, like acrylics or watercolors, will be explored in combination with dry media such as pencil and pastel. We will learn how to incorporate materials such as paper, fabric, beading, and found objects into a beautiful finished work. We’ll discuss some of the formal elements of art such as composition, color, line, and contrast to guide you along the way.
