Karen Ashbrook & Paul Oorts will present “wonderfully energetic and exquisitely arranged collaborations” – The Washington Post. Their performance on several unusual folk instruments will be engaging and instructive!
With hammered dulcimer, harp, guitar, button accordion, and wooden flute, KA/PO – Karen Ashbrook & Belgian multi-instrumentalist, Paul Oorts, play a delightful travelogue of old and new music ranging from the French court of Louis XIV, to the guild dances in the Flemish countryside, Irish ceilis, and Parisian cafes!
