Featuring songs in English, Portuguese, and French, this captivating duo draws from impressionism, jazz, and the great Brazilian songwriting tradition. Cressman is established as a phenomenal trombonist, jazz vocalist, and songwriter, and is no stranger to star powered collaborations. She has performed with Carlos Santana and Phish just to name a few. Faquini “writes astonishingly sophisticated Brazilian pop music” (SF Classical Voice) and is known for his unique compositional style on the guitar. Together this artistic kinship creates a fully orchestrated sound befitting of a much larger ensemble.
