The perfect activity for a day off school, this dance program explores the instruments of the orchestra.
In Partnership with Metropolitan Ballet Ensemble. This 40-minute program reveals the undeniable relationship between dance and music. Ourchestra examines the four families of an Orchestra: Percussion, Woodwinds, Brass, and Strings, with brief lessons on the instruments that make up these families. The instruments then come alive through classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance, all performed to orchestral music selections. Learn about music in a whole new way.
Recommended for ages 4 & up.
