Park Playhouse Jr.: Peter and the Wolf with The Puppet Co.

Join Glen Echo’s beloved Puppet Co. in celebrating its 40th birthday at this magical outdoor reimagined performance of Peter and The Wolf. Peter and The Wolf is a fan favorite in the Puppet Co’s repertoire. Created nearly 70 years ago by The Puppet Co. founder, Christopher Piper’s father, with puppets handcrafted by Christopher, this delightful and updated version of this classic  folktale is sure to delight audiences of all ages.  Join us for this Puppet Co. Legacy favorite, with a new spin. This English and Russian bilingual production will incorporate the classic music in this two-person small marionette romp.

About Parks Playhouse Junior:  This summer, Montgomery Parks is hosting Parks Playhouse Junior, a series of performances geared toward children ages two through twelve. The series will consist of live puppet shows, sing-alongs, and music lessons by performers that will keep your kids moving and grooving, engaged, and informed. Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and a blanket or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show.
