Get a taste of the tropics and learn more about a native fruit at the Pawpaw Festival!

It’s time to get your paws on some pawpaws! Meadowside Nature Center will celebrate this delightful native fruit with music, crafts, games, expert advice on pawpaw cultivation, and most importantly a pawpaw tasting station. We’ll have pawpaw fruit and trees for purchase.

But most importantly, what’s a pawpaw? This native fruit has a tropical, electric taste. Its exterior flesh is green and very unassuming, but the insides are pale yellow, with dark brown seeds in the center.
